Our mission is to empower trappers, enhance community outreach, and foster the next generation of skilled and responsible youth. We host meetings every six weeks in the Grande Prairie, Alberta region. Anyone is welcome to attend; however, to vote at our meetings and participate in the in-camera portions, membership in the Alberta Trappers Association and completing a form at the meeting stating your intentions to join and participate in our local are required. The Grande Prairie Local is led by a four-member executive team consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
